Shaping Our District Together for 2021
Our Sustainable Community Strategy sets out the Strategic Partnership's vision for improving the quality of life for our communities. The strategy is based on a strong partnership approach which includes partners from private, public and voluntary sectors.
Our Vision
Our vision is for 'A progressive, unique and vibrant District, which values its environment, heritage and culture and cares for the future: an outstanding place to live where everyone can flourish'.

We are in the process of refreshing the strategy to ensure that it is still relevant and fit for the current economic environment. As part of our work to refresh the strategy we are talking to stakeholders to ensure we capture any emerging themes across the District. This refresh will be complete in August 2012 and published here.
